Music Under the Mountains is an annual festival of traditional Irish music in Hollywood County Wicklow. The festival has been in running since 1991 and has attracted some of the country’s biggest names in traditional Irish music including The Chieftans, Altan, Liam O’Flynn, The Kilfenora Ceili band and Martin Hayes (to name but a few!).

The festival generally runs during the third weekend of September each year providing a weekend packed full of concerts and sessions hosted by local and visiting musicians. Since 1996 Music Under the Mountains’ aim has been to support The Laura Greaves Music Bursary, which helps provides musical tuition to children in the greater Hollywood area.
